Synopsis
Four friends embark on the journey of a lifetime from Mexico to Canada. Across solely public land, Ben Masters, Jonny Fitzsimons, Ben Thamer and Thomas Glover traverse the desert to the mountains across five states with 16 horses in tow. The men choose to use wild mustangs as their trail horses. They have been bred perfectly to suit the rocky terrain of the west, but they are threatened by decreasing public lands, highways and tourism. In particular, here, we observe the great plight of the mustangs and the importance of public lands.
