Synopsis
With "New Girl" heart-throb, Jake Johnson, "The Pretty One" tells the story of twin sisters, Laurel and Audrey, who are polar opposites. Audrey has confidence, style, independence and a promising career in real estate, while awkward Laurel still lives at home with her widowed father. When Audrey returns home to celebrate their birthday, she begins to urge Laurel to break out of her shell and instigates a makeover. But before the new Laurel is revealed, the twins are in a car crash which kills Audrey. There is confusion as to which sister has died and Laurel decides to reinvent herself as her popular, vivacious twin.
