Mineral salesman Dan Trunkman is tired of playing second fiddle to his tough-as-nails lady boss, Chuck. He quits to start a competing firm, Apex, taking with him numbers man Timothy McWinters and upbeat but dim-witted Mike Pancake. After several months with no revenue, a deal finally appears to be at hand with The Benjaminson Group. But when Dan goes to close, he finds that his former employer has swooped in to scoop her competition. Dan convinces the company to let Apex pitch at the company's headquarters in Berlin, where Oktoberfest, the G8 Summit, Folsom Europe (a gay fetish festival) and the Berlin Marathon are all taking place. Timothy and Mike end up at a youth hostel filled with G8 protesters, while Dan unwittingly finds lodging in a "habitable work of art" at a museum, forcing the team to overcome their greatest challenges yet to seal this make-it-or-break-it deal.
