Synopsis
Paranoid surveillance expert Harry Caul has a meticulous devotion to his work and a policy of never getting personally involved in the jobs he's given. When Caul accepts an assignment to record a public conversation between a young couple, he grows convinced that his subjects are in trouble and breaks his own rules in an effort to save their lives, with disastrous consequences for everyone involved.
