Synopsis
A depressed war vet-turned-hitman falls in love with acting while on a job in Los Angeles in this wickedly twisted, Emmy®-winning dark comedy series starring Bill Hader. When he’s assigned to whack an aspiring actor whom he follows into an acting class, Barry unexpectedly falls in love with the craft and one of its students. In Season 2, Barry tries to focus on his acting and his girlfriend, but he can't seem to escape his former life as he gets mixed up with the violent, albeit bumbling, Chechen mob. Season 3 finds Barry desperate for work and a return to status quo in the aftermath of a monastery shootout, but he eventually winds up in jail for the explosive and hilarious fourth and final season.
