Synopsis
When we last saw models Derek and Hansel, they were enjoying the wonders of the "Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too," and Mugatu was behind bars. Then, a catastrophe stuck the center, and Derek and Hansel were forced to go into seclusion, living separate live off the grid. Fifteen years later, each still lead isolated lives, shut off from the rest of the world. When they receive special invitations to star in a major world fashion event in Rome, they are unable to deny the allure of returning to their former glory. Upon arrival, Derek and Hansel meet the eccentric designers behind the new fashion empire. The two rapidly realize that the fashion world they once knew has drastically changed, thrusting them awkwardly back into the spotlight.
