1. Question: I want to order a holiday gift. Will it get there on time?

Answer: In stock DVD?s, Blu-rays and Gift Cards purchased by December 20th will reach your destination no later than December 24th. Any orders placed after these dates cannot be guaranteed delivery by the holidays.

2. Question: What shipping options are available and how long will it usually take?

Answer:

The Cineplex store uses Canada Post to ship all products. Depending on the number of items in your order, you will either receive your order via Regular Mail or Xpress Post. This is determined for you at the time you order. Most items will arrive within 3-5 business days after they have been shipped and most in stock items are shipped within 1 business day from the time they were ordered. Shipping times can vary depending on such factors as remote locations, distance and weather conditions.

3. Question: How do my shipping costs get calculated?

Answer:

Shipping costs are based on the number of products you order. You will normally be charged $2.49 per DVD or Blu-ray or $6.99 per boxed set.

4. Question: Do you ship outside of Canada?

Answer:

The Cineplex store only ships to destinations within Canada.

5. Question: What happens if some of my items are on back order?

Answer:

Items you purchased that are temporarily out of stock are immediately placed on back order. If you paid for part or all of your back ordered items using SCENE points, your SCENE account will be deducted immediately. If you paid for part or all of your order with a credit card, it will not be charged until your order arrives. When your back ordered items arrive, they will be shipped to the location you indicated when placing your order. All shipping costs, including back ordered items, are calculated for you at the time of your purchase. No additional shipping charges will apply to back ordered items. SCENE points, if applicable, will be credited to your account when your back ordered products are shipped.

6. Question: What will happen to my order if some of the items were in stock and some of them are on back order?

Answer: Items you purchased that are temporarily out of stock are immediately placed on back order. If you paid for part or all of your back ordered items using SCENE points, your SCENE account will be deducted immediately. If you paid for part or all of your order using a Cineplex gift card, the value will be immediately applied to your gift card. If you paid for part or all of your order with a credit card, it will not be charged until your order arrives. When your back ordered items arrive, they will be shipped to the location you indicated when placing your order. All shipping costs, including back ordered items, are calculated for you at the time of your purchase. No additional shipping charges will apply to back ordered items. SCENE points, if applicable, will be credited to your account when your back ordered products are shipped.

All in stock items with the exception of will be shipped as per our normal delivery policy. When your back order items arrive, we will send them to you directly. We do not hold your in stock items until the back ordered items arrive. This means you will get to enjoy your order sooner!

If you have ordered a Cineplex Exclusive Bundle in which one or more items are on back order, your entire Bundle will be held and shipped together when all items are in stock.

7. Question: Can I return a product?

Occasionally you may need to return an item(s) from our store. Please take a moment to review our return policy below. If you still need help, please contact our customer service representatives.

8. Question: I have changed my mind but the order has already shipped. Can I still return my purchase?

Answer: We understand that you may change your mind. With that in mind, we will accept unopened items accompanied in their original packaging with a copy of your original sales receipt from the Cineplex store within 30 days of receipt of your order. Simply ship the item(s) to Cineplex Entertainment Store, 70 Driver Road, Unit#1, Brampton, On, L6T 5V2. Once we receive your returned item(s), we will refund your credit card minus the original shipping charges, usually within 10 business days of receipt. If you have used SCENE points to pay for part or all of your purchase, your points will be credited to your SCENE account minus the original shipping charges, usually within 10 business days. If you have used a Cineplex Gift Card for part or all of your purchase, you will be issued a store credit minus the original shipping charges.

9. Question: What if I have opened the original packaging?

Answer:

We are only able to receive unopened items.

10. Question: I received my product and one of them is damaged or not playing properly? How do I return it?

Answer: We will accept damaged or faulty items within 10 days of receipt. Simply return the faulty product(s) by regular mail in its original packaging with a copy of the original sales receipt from cineplex.com to Cineplex Entertainment Store, 70 Driver Road, Unit#1, Brampton, On, L6T 5V2. We will ship you a replacement item right away. We will refund the return shipping costs to your credit card, however, we are unable to provide refunds on opened items. Please note that we cannot refund courier shipping costs for returned items.

11. Question: Can I just take my products back to my local Cineplex theatre and get a refund or exchange?

Answer:

No. Cineplex Entertainment theatres including Cineplex Odeon, Famous Players, Galaxy Cinemas, SilverCity, StarCité, Coliseum, Colisée, Colossus, Cinema City or Scotiabank theatres cannot accept items sold from the Cineplex.com store.

12. Question: Can I return a product that was not purchased by me, such as a gift ? 

Answer: No. Returns and exchanges can only be applied to the credit card, Cineplex gift card or SCENE card used when the product was originally purchased.

13. Question: I pre-ordered an item but want to cancel the order. How can I do this?

Answer:

You can request your pre-order item(s) be cancelled up to 5 business days before the release date. You will need to send your request to storehelp@cineplex.com. Please ensure that you include your order confirmation number, first and last name with your request. A customer service representative will contact you to discuss and confirm your request.
