Synopsis
An anthropologist returns to his hometown of Salem's Lot along with his teenage son to find that the place has been taken over by vampires. The only living people in the town are there to provide the undead with blood and run the gas station and stores. Because they know that the anthropologist prides himself maintaining neutrality and impartiality when observing behavior, the vampires engage him to write their story. But when the evil of their nature becomes evident to the man and his son is in danger, he teams up with a Nazi hunter to defeat them.
