Synopsis
Dusty Rhodes and her father are new to Fort Stillwater. Dusty is a cowgirl and she tries her best to fit in at her new high school. Her mother is an Apache helicopter pilot and her father is a U.S. Army Ranger. Dusty clashes with Savanah and a group of kids at school, but ultimately becomes friends with them. Dusty convinces them to help her form an Equestrian Drill Team at their high school. When both of Dusty’s parents are sent overseas to fight in Afghanistan, Dusty and her new friends struggle to deal with the growing impact of the war on their little southern town.
